Job Title: Application Developer

Reports to: Manager, Application and Development

Job Description

The Application Developer is responsible for being a valuable resource for Application Development Team services and projects. This position requires excellent knowledge of multiple programming languages. Candidates must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail as well as excellent technical communication skills, listens to client's needs and is ambitious.

Responsibilities: 

  • Be a reliable, productive and valid resource on assigned Application Development Team services and projects

  • Contribute on subject matter for applicable Application Development Team services

  • Strive to educate themselves on additional Application Development Teams services

  • Educate and understand Application Development Team services’ position within ACS solutions

  • Assist Sales and Marketing with selling all Application Development Team services

  • Maintain and Update certifications for the Application Development Team as required to maintain vendor certification and program qualifications

  • Provide sales support on customer calls around Application Development

  • Provide input on new strategic ACS offerings around Application Development Team services

  • Consult with clients and Client Executives to analyze computer hardware, software and service requirements and implementation

  • Provide technical assistance and training to system users of Application Development Team services

  • Respond to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software and configuration issues

  • Return calls and emails promptly and no later than the end of day

  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors

  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations in the Application Development Team

  • Establish and implement short and long term team goals, objectives, policies and operating procedure

  • Attain quota for targets set in FY Incentive Plan

  • Assist other Application Development and ACS team members with other business activities as needed

  • Maintain various information in ConnectWise

  • Other job-related duties may be assigned

    • Able to configure the web server and deploy the application for Internet Information Services

    • Able to set up a server, add IP addresses to NIC, add roles if needed, and install .NET 3.5
