What are Microsoft Vouchers? September 4 2018 If your company has purchased Microsoft products that carry Software Assurance, chances are you are eligible for additional no charge consulting and deployment services you might not even know about for your organization. Desktop Deployment Planning Services (DDPS) is one of the benefits of purchasing a qualifying Microsoft Office and/or Windows software license that is covered by Software Assurance or if the organization has eligible Enterprise, Select, Open Business, or Open Value Microsoft agreements. The type of benefits associated with an organization’s purchase is determined by its: Volume licensing agreement Type of license Number of licenses ACS, a Gold-Level Microsoft partner, can provide no-charge consulting to organizations through DDPS to plan the deployment of: Windows 10 Remote Desktop Services Office 365 These services help businesses get the most from their technology investments. “It’s a way Microsoft keeps customers up-to-date on our newest technologies,” Bailey Stickney, a Microsoft licensing specialist, said. Many end-users or information technology professionals aren’t aware they receive Software Assurance vouchers, which make them eligible for consulting services or DDPS, because some licensed sellers don’t notify them at the time of purchase. Sellers should be informing customers about the benefits for which they are eligible, and customers should ask if their purchase qualifies them for Microsoft Vouchers and if so, how many, Stickney said. The Microsoft Software Assurance Vouchers provide purchasers with 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15-day vouchers for planning or consulting services. The exact number of days is based on the organization’s number of qualifying licenses. Organizations can redeem these vouchers with partners such as ACS to give their information technology staff guidance about control, manageability, and security related to desktop deployment onsite, in a Cloud or in a hybrid environment or implement the solution for them. Planning services are uniquely designed to meet the needs of each organization. For example, vouchers can be used for a variety of planning services such as a Windows 10 deployment, upgrade or migration. These planning and deployment services will help your organization continue to run smoothly and efficiently. There are a variety of services available.
